Today, Kathy Miller’s campaign for Assembly announced that she has won the support of the Democratic Club of Greater Tracy.
Following the decision to endorse, Barbara Sasso, President of the Democratic Club of Greater Tracy said: “Kathy Miller’s efforts to address homelessness in San Joaquin County, her work to keep our county hospital open, and her understanding of water issues in our region are just a few of the reasons why the Democratic Club of Greater Tracy is pleased to endorse her. We believe she will advocate for us in the Assembly on the issues that are most important to us.”
Upon learning of their decision to endorse her campaign, Kathy Miller said: “It is an honor to receive the support of the Democratic Club of Greater Tracy. As one of the largest and most active Democratic Clubs in San Joaquin County, this club is known for implementing the winning organizing strategy that was key to the successful upset election in 2018 of Congressman Josh Harder, among others. I’m looking forward to working with the full membership and to having their boots on the ground in my campaign. I know that having their backing will be key to my victory.”
The Democratic Club of Greater Tracy joins a growing list of local leaders and community members who have thrown their early, unequivocal support behind Kathy Miller for Assembly, including Planned Parenthood Advocates Mar Monte, Assemblywoman Susan Eggman, Stockton Mayor Michael Tubbs and others.
